 At Northwest Tarp and Cover (formerly Weld Tech Engineering), we design and manufacture all varieties and variations of custom-made tarps in many sizes and for many uses.Our staff will be more than happy to assist you in fulfilling your tarp needs.

Since we started doing tarps 13 years ago there have been many changes to the trucking industry. With these changes Northwest Tarp and Cover (formerly known as Weld Tech Engineering) has worked hard to deliver the latest technology in tarps at a very competitive price. With our newly automated assembly line almost complete, the possibilities are endless since we will have the ability to complete even the largest orders quicker than before. If you can dream it, we can design it and quickly make it for you at affordable prices.
Some of our most popular vinyl tarps include:
- 20' x 20' utility tarps with 3 rows of d rings on all sides boxed to your specific need
- 10' x 10' small tarps with d rings on all hems only
- fitted smoke tarps, with welded box end, with usually a 2' drop, 8' 6" wide x 8' drop we also put d rings and webbing loops up the sides for your 2" load strap to fit through to help secure the tarp to the load
- chip truck tarps: with welded loops and reinforced on ends this eliminates thread that rots when exposed to the elements. Call with the length and width of your trailer. These tarps are usually available same day of order.
 We provide drops of 4 feet, 6 feet, 8 feet, 9 feet or 10 feet. Rows of d rings are set to your meet your needs. Our usual settings on rows are every 2 feet up with the hem row set up 3-4 inches above the hem. Our standard apron is 8' 6"; however it can be custom sized and fit. The standard lengths of our tarps are 27 feet long. The length can be changed longer or shorter as needed. We have built one 32' and one 22' long and 6' or 8' drops as an example. Any variation is possible.
